So, here’s the backstory. I saw “Gonzo” at SXSW and loved it. Loved the coverage of the 1972 election and Hunter S. Thompson’s place in it. So, I got the book, “Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail ’72”. I’ll admit, the idea was already gestating within my brain as I watched the documentary. However, it took a bit to come to fruition.
Here is the game. I’ll post a quote having to do with an election. You’ll have to figure out which one. If you’re smart, you’ll already realize most will come from this year, or 1972. Heck, that said, I may have to mix things up.
